Good News Friday!

April 6-12 is National Volunteer Week, which celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary things to improve communities across the nation. So today, I’d like to thank all of Imagine!'s volunteers.

As a community-based organization, we know we can't succeed without the support of our neighbors and friends. The many people who have volunteered for Imagine! over the past year demonstrate quite clearly how much support we have for our mission and how fortunate we are to be based in such a generous community. 

Need proof? Here are some key details: 241 Imagine! volunteers contributed a total of 7,638 hours to the organization last year, including:

• 111 volunteers who served directly with Imagine! consumers (3718.5 hours)  
• 15 who served on the Imagine! Board of Directors (468 hours)  
• 21 who served on the Imagine! Foundation Board of Directors (1,518)  
• 15 who served on the Imagine! Celebration Committee (182 hours)  
• 10 who served on the Human Rights Committee (480 hours)  
• 12 who served on the Family Support Council (288 hours)  
• 57 who served in other roles including events, clerical work, and building/vehicle maintenance - (983.5 hours)
